Anthony Palandro has been in the floor covering industry since 1972. He works as an installer, inspector, consultant and expert witness.
Since 1998, Anthony has been working as an installation instructor for flooring distributors, manufacturers, and major industry associations. He is the installation instructor for NALFA, North American Laminate Floor Association, Pergo, and Kahrs International.
He has consulted on installation issues for several major flooring manufacturers, including Pergo, Kahrs, Expanko Cork, and Capri Cork. Anthony knows the importance of continuing education and, therefore, regularly attends industry events and seminars

Slab Moisture Testing Technician Certification – Grade I
This certification program will consist of 3 hours of training, a written
exam,
and a field performance exam. By passing both the written and performance
exams,
a Slab Moisture Testing Technician - Grade I will be certified by ICRI
as an individual
who has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to properly perform and
record the
results of four basic field moisture tests on hardened concrete.
Both the written exam and the field tests will be based on the following
four (4) ASTM Standards, including all Annexes and Appendices:
- F 710 Preparing Concrete Floors to Receive Resilient Flooring; Section
5.3 pH Testing
- F 1869 Measuring Moisture Vapor Emission Rate of Concrete Subfloor Using
Anhydrous Calcium Chloride
- F 2170 Determining Relative Humidity in Concrete Floor Slabs Using in
situ Probes
